Our first game

In development · iOS · Android

A geography guessing game built on real administrative boundaries. Three countries at launch, 4,435 districts, counties and arrondissements to find, and a map rendered from official boundary data rather than a picture of one.

  • Three maps. Türkiye (81 provinces, 973 districts), the United States (51 states, 3,142 counties) and France (96 départements, 320 arrondissements).
  • Three modes. Find the district on the map, name the province it belongs to, or find the province itself.
  • Solo and together. Play against the clock on your own, or open a private lobby and give everyone the same questions in the same order.
  • Progression. Per-map leaderboards, a hundred levels, match history and a profile you keep.
  • 13 languages, including full right-to-left layout for Arabic. Place names are never translated.
  • Built on real data. Each country gets its own map projection, so shapes stay true instead of being stretched by a one-size-fits-all web map.

The name, the screenshots and the release date will be announced here first. Write to us if you would like to hear about the beta.

How we build

The game is a web application rendered with WebGL and packaged for phones, which means the same build runs everywhere and the map is drawn live rather than shipped as images. Boundaries come from open government-derived datasets; every country is reprojected on its own terms.

The data behind the maps, and the licences it carries, are listed in full on the credits page.
